Audience One: A group of people concerned about their diet and are uneducated about GMOs and the company Monsanto.
- I plan to show clips from the documentary film The World According to Monsanto, which demonstrates using interviews and case studies the effects Monsanto has had on the environment, small businesses and peoples' health.
Dear members of the FDA,
ReplyDeleteAfter spending time researching the company Monsanto, I have learned the damages the company has caused to peoples’ health, land and businesses. My question to you is how did a company filled with so much corruption get away with this? Along with learning about the corruption the company itself has, I have uncovered the hidden secrets of the “revolving” door Monsanto has seemed to have created with the FDA. This revolving door has caused me to question how honest you people have been as members of the FDA. Although most of Monsanto’s corruption has been brought to the surface, I feel as if not much is being done to help stop Monsanto. It is important to protect American citizens from the potentially life threatening chemical glifosat which is found in Monsanto’s roundup and ‘roundup ready’ seeds. A way to do this would be to make sure labels are clear on GMOs, it is only fair that people who may consume Monsanto’s products know what they are consuming, and that it could be life threatening.
